Simone Rocha Just Teased a New Crocs Collab on the Runway

What’s the plural noun for a group of disgruntled debutants? A gaggle? A band? A charm? Whatever they may be, one thing’s for certain: we want in on Simone Rocha’s crew. Not least because, for Spring/Summer 2026, they come clad in a brand new Crocs collab.

Making its London Fashion Week debut, the Simone Rocha x Crocs Ballerina Platform comes in black and “oyster” colorways. It is as romantic and playful as the three previous Croc collabs that came before it, with added design features that include in-mold detailing inspired by pointe shoes and a sculptural outsole, decorated in bow-like motifs.

Alongside the Ballerina Platform, the SS26 show also featured updated versions of the classic platform (in “pink rose” and black) as well as the Trailbreak sneaker (also in black and “oyster”). All due to launch in October, for those who want to mark their diaries now.

As for the garments themselves, the collection embodied Rocha’s classic coquette spirit, playing on romanticism in a playfully provocative way that only the London-based designer can muster. (Few others could combine crinolines, pearls and plastic overlays in quite such a radical, yet overly feminine, way.)

Inspired by Maureen Freely’s 1992 essay, the runway very much embodied that “awkward moment” when young girls self-image begins to shift, both as a result of growing up, but also of be subjected to the gaze and expectations of others. Hence the clutched pillows and swagger of crossed arms.

The only thing better than both the Crocs collab, and the collection itself, was watching celebrated actor Fiona Shaw’s unbridled joy and enthusiasm as the runway rolled out. More of that too, please.
