Natasha Zinko SS26 Wants To Cure Your Fashion Hangover

Natasha Zinko's Spring/Summer 2026 collection opened with a hangover. Not the literal kind, but a nod to the cultural hangover of an internet generation glued to the glowing carousel of TikTok trends and Instagram aesthetics.

At London Fashion Week, the Ukrainian-born, London-based designer took the stage at Soho's nightclub The Box and, as always, she came with a message. For SS26, Zinko reflects on how in fashion these days everything feels staged, rehearsed and algorithmically optimized. This is the landscape Zinko looked out on, and like a true designer, she asked herself: "what actually makes clothes interesting?"

The answer, at least for Zinko, wasn't polished or finite. Instead, she reached back to her own past; the chaos of the early '00s, when college mornings often began in the clothes of the night before. She imagined the girl who staggered from club to classroom still in her sequinned dress, mascara smudged, stilettos swapped for flip-flops. Dishevelled but alive.

That spirit, tired but triumphant, ran through the showcase which was opened by  TOMM¥ €A$H. Heavily inspired by Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, the designer's pieces looked deliberately distressed, as though they had already survived their own night out. Crisp fabrics were tugged off-kilter, dresses slipped from shoulders, trousers hung loose and cigarette tiaras were a royal welcome. There was an honesty to it: clothes that didn't pretend to be untouched, but instead acted as a proof of life, if even just until morning. No tidy archetypes, no algorithm-ready aesthetics just the beauty of being raw, exposed and a little bit wrecked.

Bloody Marys, cigarette tiaras and a cockapoo, of course x Held at London’s decadent SoHo club The Box, the designer’s SS26 collection visualizes the hazy, drunken in between of when a night out turns to morning.
