Obsessed With Olivia Dean? Here Are Five More Artists To Add to Your Playlist

info@hypebae.com (Hypebae)  Thu, 25 Sep 2025  Hypebae

It's safe to say that this has been an Olivia Dean summer. Her first single, "Nice to Each Other," from her upcoming album, shot straight into the Top 10 charts upon release with snippets going viral on TikTok, particularly the line, "I don't want a boyfriend, but we could be nice to each other."

It's since become a sort of anthem for the single-girl summer and was swiftly followed by the release of "Lady Lady" and "Man I Need," which she played for the first time ahead of release during her not-so-secret-secret set at Glastonbury festival. Both of these singles also topped the charts with "Man I Need" peaking at No.2 in August. This made Dean the first female British artist since Adele to have three songs in the UK Top 10 simultaneously.

After a multitude of single releases, we're finally being blessed with the full album release on September 26. If, like us, you know you're going to motor through the album in its entirety before release day is even over, then we know you're going to need a little bit more where that came from...

As a result, we've curated a list of five other artists we think you'll love, bringing feminine energy and buttery-smooth vocals. Read on to discover our selection.

Chelsea Jordan

Chelsea Jordan is an emerging American singer-songwriter, with her first single released just last year. She gained some serious attention this summer surrounding her single "halfwaythru," which dropped in August and has since amassed over a million streams on Spotify.

With soft and soulful vocals that speak to young girls and women in their 20s, and lyrics like "I love a cheeky glass of wine and a cigarette," it's hard not to love her honest and relatable storytelling. She's since experienced a steady growth in followers and commenters requesting more releases ASAP. We also love her candid approach to talking about mental health in her songs and the confusing feelings associated with being in your 20s. She's going to be big, and you heard it here first.

Nectar Woode

Nectar Woode is a British soul singer, best known for her song, "Good Vibrations," which is the perfect example of why we love her; it's feel-good vibes combined with the smoothest of vocals that just makes us want to smile. Oh, and she plays the guitar too, in case you were wondering if she could possibly get any cooler. Most recently, she released her EP, "It's Like I Never Left," and we'd strongly recommend giving this a listen asap.

Amber Mark

Amber Mark is an American singer-songwriter and producer, with a style that combines hip-hop, soul, R&B and bossa nova. Releasing her first album in 2017, she's been on the grind ever since and recently dropped the single "Too Much" as a preview to her album Pretty Idea, dropping on October 10. With a gorgeous combination of rich vocals and inspired instrumentals, we can't wait for this release. Our personal favorite from her discography is "Sweet Serotonin," released earlier this summer.

Pip Millett

Pip Millett is a British singer who made her name with the song "Downright" back in 2022. Now, she is finally releasing her debut album, I'll Let You Know, on October 21. Her slow and deep vocals are a welcome comfort in an overproduced world, and we can't wait to hear the new LP. Sporting playful makeup looks with iridescent eyeliner and bleached eyebrows, and an Instagram bio that reads "sexy and stressed," she's already proving her popstar status.

Rachel Chinouriri

Rachel Chinouriri is giving future British icon. Having recently dropped a single with none other than Rizzle Kicks (the poster boys of the early 2010s Brit-core and now in their comeback era), she just released her EP 'Little House' on September 12. Playful, feel-good and more of a pop vibe, the delightfully feminine tracks are the perfect way to get you through this next season.
