Snoafers — sneaker and loafer hybrids — took the fashion world by storm last year, and it seems the industry hasn't gotten over this trend just yet. After the first drop sold out with rave reviews a few months ago, KEEN has brought back the UNEEK Loafer WK in a gorgeous new colorway: "Cordovan." Arriving in a deep, sophisticated shade of brown, the snoafers channel a sort of elegance and formality that is associated with loafers whilst remaining a shoe for daily exploits and nights out.
Evolved from KEEN's UNEEK sneaker, the ropey design is reimagined here. Almost resembling a boat shoe, the upper is ethically-sourced brown leather with rope decorating the toe box and looping through the sides of the shoe. The sole is where things go from office to casual, with a chunky sneaker midsole made to provide all-day comfort and support, as well as a subtle lug sole for traction.
The snoafers are a masterclass in craftsmanship, with the shoes stitched and woven by hand. Hitting shelves as a limited-edition drop, each pair is individually numbered, instantly turning them into one of footwear's many grails.
The UNEEK Loafer WK in "Cordovan" will be available to purchase starting December 18 exclusively at END. Clothing.
In other news, Birkenstock and CNCPTS reimagined the Boston clogs in a wooly, new material.
