Sabrina Carpenter
It's no secret that Sabrina Carpenter knows how to pull off any makeup look — but her 2025 VMAs glam, accomplished by Carolina Gonzalez, makes use of all the glowy details she's become synonymous with. To complete her red carpet ensemble, Carpenter wore glowy pink blush, a shimmery eye look, smokey liner and a berry lip.
Ariana Grande
Ever since the Wicked press tour, Ariana Grande has been serving tons of soft and feminine beauty looks. Executed by her makeup artist Michael Anthony, the Eternal Sunshine singer complemented her FENDI polka dot gown with white glittery shadow, baby pink blush and rosy glossy lips.
Doja Cat
Doja Cat deeply understands the importance of hair and makeup, and her 2025 VMAs look is no exception. While her Balmain look was enough to turn heads, what really captured our attention was her voluminous hair and bold red lip. In true Doja Cat fashion, she took it to the next level when she ate a piece of her lipstick on the red carpet. However, it was recently confirmed that the lipstick was actually chocolate made by Amaury Guichon.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga has never been one to skimp on beauty, and she gave us everything and more last night at the VMAs. In addition to her Marc Jacobs ruffled number, the Artist of the Year took home the trophy with bleached eyebrows, a warm sparkly eye look and a glittery red lip.
FKA Twigs
FKA Twigs was in attendance, and of course her beauty look was one of the best of the night. Thanks to her makeup artist, Catalina Sartor, Twigs completed her burgundy Matières Fécales ensemble with a smokey cut crease eye look, bleached brows and a shimmery lip.
Tyla
Tyla debuted yet another short hair look on the red carpet last night. We've seen her rock everything from a blonde pixie cut to side-swept curls, but last night's blunt bob was made possible by hairstylist Yusef. As for makeup, Jimmy Stam dreamed up the star's glowy, yet natural glam.
Zara Larsson
Also completed by celebrity makeup artist Jimmy Stam, Zara Larsson stunned in a 2000s-esque frosted makeup look. She wore pearly eyeshadow, bubble gum pink blush and a nude, glossy lip.
Olandria Carthen
Olandria Carthen made her VMAs debut, and it had all of the Love Island USA fans talking. She wore a flowing red Matthew Reisman gown and finished it off with her signature radiant glam. Her makeup artist Kenya Alexis calls the look "a bronze show stopping glow," complete with sparkly shadow, winged liner and a bold brown lip combo.
Ice Spice
Last night, Ice Spice ditched her signature ginger hair for a pastel pink updo. For makeup, the star kept things light with brown shadow and pink gloss — and since we're always on the lookout for nail inspiration, we couldn't help but notice her chic, square French tips.
