Mariah the Scientist Just Announced Her New Album

Following the success of her single, "Burning Blue," Mariah the Scientist announces a new album.

On July 8, the Atlanta-bred singer posted a visually striking pink photo on Instagram. In the photo, there's a green figurine that resembles her fit from the "Burning Blue" music video. In a salute pose, she steals the cover. The next slide cuts through the cryptic notions with what appears to be a scratched-out album track list.

The post's caption reads, "HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY... 08/22." Of course, fans flocked to the comments in search of confirmation, but were left with a comment by the artist that read, "Comment your guess which number you're claiming." As in, which one you believe will be the hit.

Not much else has been shared about the project. However, the buzz generated in the comments is a clear reflection of her last single's success. "I NEED THE VINYL PRE-ORDER IMMEDIATELY," one fan commented while another added, "I guess I'll be fighting for those tour tickets..."
