Global mega girl group Katseye performed their first-ever European show in London earlier this month, with a Q&A from Melanie C of the Spice Girls, gaining her seal of approval. Now continuing their UK appearances, the group featured on BBC Radio 1 chatting to Greg James.

The band was formed on the Netflix show Pop Star Academy and includes members from the Philippines, South Korea, Switzerland and the US. They have aptly been dubbed "the global girl group" with their diverse representation and really are on their way to world domination. Lara, Daniela, Manon, Megan, Yoonchae and Sophia shared some of their goals and plans for the future.

Lara said, "Making a genuine impact on culture is our biggest goal, that being representation and changing pop music. A big thing about us is being versatile. We switch it up with every project we put out. Even on each EP, every song is different and that is important to us."

"I like putting our cultures into each one of our songs, like we did on "Gabriela," we want to put in our own languages, make people feel seen and be the representation that we never had." This sums up exactly why we love the girls so much, and we can't wait to see what they do next.

In other news, V of BTS is the global brand ambassador of K-beauty brand TIRTIR.
