The HOKA x UNNA Speedgoat 2 Comes With an Unexpected Detail
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Thu, 11 Sep 2025 HypebaeIf you hopped on the whimsical-girl-summer trend, HOKA and Swedish running label UNNA have a new drop just for you. The two brands teamed up to reimagine the Speedgoat 2, infusing HOKA's high-performance tech with UNNA's offbeat charm and retro-futuristic aesthetic.
At the heart of the collab is a standout detail: detachable rubber caterpillars that glow in the dark. More than just a quirky accent, they symbolize transformation and a nod to every runner's personal evolution. "We're all caterpillars with the potential for metamorphosis," says UNNA's Founder and Creative Director, John-Ruben Holtback, in a press release.
The shoe also reflects UNNA's retro vibe with natural rubber tones coating the midsole and outsole and glossy metallic finishes adding a bold contrast. The release comes in two dreamy colorways, "Astral/Galaxy" and "Sea Ice/Cosmic Gray," blending both streetwear and trail inspirations. Finally, UNNA's mantra, "Finish in a Good Place," gets a literal touch with the words "GOOD" and "PLACE" stamped across the toe boxes.
Metallic, playful and undoubtedly unique, the Speedgoat 2 is ready to take you across mountains and through city streets, delivering both fantasy and trail cred.
The collection will be available from September 12 via the UNNA website and September 19 via the HOKA website.
