Venezia FC and NOCTA Just Dropped '90s-Inspired Goalkeeper Jerseys

Following the success of the recent Home and Away kits, Venezia FC and Drake's NOCTA continue their "Home Ground" lineup with a range of new 25/26 Goalkeeper Jerseys.

This latest drop furthers the team's push to establish itself as not just a football club, but as a cultural platform, too. This can be seen through the design choices, inspired by goalkeeper kits of the '90s when they were infused with personality and style. The jersey revives this energy through a distinctly Venetian lens. As stated in the press release, "These jerseys elevate the goalkeeper beyond the role of the last line of defense, into a symbol of presence, identity and vision."

Fronting the campaign is contemporary artist Fabrizio Plessi, a pioneer of video art and a symbolic creative figure for Venice. Plessi is photographed by Duncan Loudon in front of his own works, embodying a fusion of art and sport. The images push this cultural dialogue and turn the humble jersey into a canvas, and the goalkeeper into an artist. Alongside Plessi, the campaign features other contemporary creatives including Solange Smith, Carlo Braidotti, Red Longo and Diana Hlushach.

The Goalkeeper Home Jersey features a gold base reimagined with NOCTA's signature star pattern and comes exclusively in long-sleeves as an homage to the golden era of keepers. The Away Jersey channels bold visuals and vintage aesthetics with a vivid fuchsia base. This is layered with textured graphics and lion motifs drawn from street culture. Designed by Diego Moscosoni and Ariel Mojetta, they have once again managed to turn the functional garments into cultural artefacts that are sure to be the future 'vintage' we talk of.

The jerseys will make their pitch debut at the upcoming Coppa Italia Frecciarossa match against Mantova on August 16th and are now available to buy via the Venezia FC website.
