Nadia Lee Cohen Turns Into Her Childhood Babysitter in IDEA's New Book

IDEA just announced its latest release, a pretty impressive collaboration between fashion's fave photographer Nadia Lee Cohen and documentary photojournalist Martin Parr. Titled Julie Bullard, the new book is set to launch during Photo London at Dover Street Market.

The book sees Cohen, known for works like "Women" and "Hello My Name Is," in a rare moment stepping in front of the lens. Captured by Parr in a series of distinctive scenarios, the project transforms Cohen into her childhood babysitter and unlikely source of inspiration, named Julie Bullard. Dubbed as her "first encounter with glamor," the book is a rare opportunity into the upbringing of one of fashion's most influential figures.

Reimagined in the style of a seventies photo album, the book itself is complete with faux leather board covers and vintage gold metal binding, disguised as an old-school time capsule. Utilizing Parr's documentary-style photography to capture 1990s Britain, the "fictional family album" features over 100 photographs, including glimpses of Cohen in prosthetics.

Take an early look at Julie Bullard above, before the book is officially released on May 15.
