Sports bars have always been male dominated. But, the recent surge in women's interest has women's sports bars popping up all over the U.S. From fast food collabs to fire sneaker drops, it's clear the women are dominating sports discussions. The latest to join the chat is Atlanta's Jolene Jolene.

Located in Pullman Yards, the new bar opened to a line out the door. According to the bar owner, Chelsea Fishman, the mission behind her bar is personal. "There’s not a place like this. There’s not a place for women’s sports, for women's sports fans to gather, and celebrate and trash talk, strategize and dream."

And its already working. An attendee told Atlanta News First, "Community is everything. Not everybody has an opportunity for a safe space like this. I grew up in rural south Georgia. There's nothing like this there."

As she said, for many across the U.S., that experience isn't possible. So, her goal is to make Jolene Jolene a new community safe space for the city of Atlanta. A few years ago, TikTok questioned where third spaces have gone. This new trend cuts through the gendered sport experience, making sure every woman feels safe to kick back and watch the game.

In other news, Angel Reese just secured a new title from the WNBA. This marks her third record title during the 2025 WNBA season. Elsewhere, your July full moon horoscope is here.
