These Were the Hottest Fashion Brands and Buys of Q2, According to Lyst
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Tue, 29 Jul 2025 HypebaeLyst just dropped its Q2 Index and there is plenty to unpack. As always, the global search engine showcases the 10 hottest brands and 10 hottest items of the last quarter, determined by its own search data. Back in April, Jonathan Anderson's LOEWE took the top spot for hottest brand and in just a few months, Miu Miu has returned to take its crown.
Next up this quarter is LOEWE, which likely fell to number two as a result of Anderson's departure. Taking the third spot is Saint Laurent, followed by Prada and Coach. Coming in at number six is The Row, a brand that also features in this quarter's hottest products list and received its highest brand ranking to date. Completing the top 10, in order, are COS, Chloe, Bottega Veneta and Moncler.
Elsewhere, the report highlights three brands to watch, citing Pucci, Rohe and Jacques Marie Mage as the next big things. In terms of hottest items, The Row's Dune sandals take the top spot, likely due to the rise in wardrobe basics as fashion trends, followed by SKIMS' white tank top (for the same reason.)
Scroll through to see the 10 hottest fashion items of the second quarter and head to the Lyst website for the full report.
The Row Dune Sandals
It's hardly surprising that a pair of flip flops made this quarter's Lyst Index, given the recent rise in popularity, but to take the top spot is pretty impressive. The Row's popularity is something that's only increased as a result of the exclusive showcases, no-phone rules and of course -- celebrity founders -- but it's the brand's Dune sandals that seem to have the fashion world in a frenzy.
SKIMS Tank Top
Searches around this specific SKIMS silhouette rose by 230% this quarter, likely as a result of the ongoing "basics" trends, and naturally, the summer months. According to Lyst, this style also received some pretty positive feedback on TikTok, which naturally adds to its virality.
adidas Originals Classic Sprinter Shorts
Adidas Originals' classic Sprinter Shorts are Lyst's third hottest product this quarter. Again, hardly surprising given the amount of shorts, shirts and loafer outfits you've likely come across on your FYP. Though the silhouette was first spotted back in the late 1970s, Lyst states that Q2 saw a 121% increase in demand, with more general searches for "sports shorts" rising by 78%. Along with our favorite influencers, we've seen the likes of Harry Styles and Bella Hadid co-sign this style, which, alone, is enough to make anything viral.
Miu Miu Faded Suede Loafers
Miu Miu comes out on top as this quarter's hottest brand and typically, that's due to one of its products. This season, it's the Faded Suede Loafers, which seemingly combine a boat shoe with a casual loafer, an evolution of last year's loafer-mania. Last quarter, it was Miu Miu's Suede Porchette bag that made the list and now, it appears we've moved on to footwear.
Vibram V-Soul Flats
Vibram is a brand that needs no introduction, fuelled by the rise of the toe-first trend (and likely, flip-flops). This quarter, the brand saw a 110% increase in traffic on Lyst and as a result, the V-Soul takes the list's fifth spot. Along with flip-flops, the rise in popularity of the V-Soul seemingly stems from increased activity outdoors, a higher importance placed on wellness and "touching grass," and of course, a rise in hybrid and unique silhouettes.
Ancient Greek Sandals Iro Ballet Flats
As the ballet flat continues to hold a special place in our summer hearts, Ancient Greek Sandals is one of the many brands that's definitely felt the benefit. Specifically, the brand's Iro Ballet Flats, which combine the jelly and mesh style with studs and pearl accents, reach the top 10.
Juju Vera Petta Shell Necklace
Tapping into this summer's "Coastal Chic" trend, which has seen a rise in pearl-encrusted jewelry, shell shapes and more natural-inspired accessories, Juju Vera's Petta Shell Necklace sits at number seven. Suggesting an ongoing shift towards nostalgia, the rise of the design also leans into our love of statement accessories to elevate basic summer looks.
Isabel Marant Bekett Sneakers
Isabel Marant's OG Bekett Sneaker evidences our recent trend report on the wedge sneaker's revival. According to Lyst, searches for the silhouette are up 630% year-on-year, partly due to a Y2K revival on TikTok and in the trendsphere. The popularity also stems from fashion's sports-inspired designs, which have recently taken influence from boxing shoes and hybrid styles.
Faithfull The Brand Hedy Strapless Dress
Each quarter, it seems that an unusual but accessible dress silhouette enters the top 10. In the past, we saw rising designer Amy Lynn and her Puffball Dress take one of the hottest spots and this quarter, it's Faithfull The Brand's Hedy silhouette. Likely due to a rise in weddings and the desire for more formal silhouettes, the strapless design also leans into the ongoing shift towards more timeless styles.
Prada Collapse Re-Nylon Sneakers
Finally, Prada's Nylon Sneaker takes the 10th and last spot. A continuation of our love for smaller, snoutier sneakers, the simple design isn't too far removed from the likes of PUMA's Speedcat or Onitsuka Tiger's Mexico 66, but offers a more elevated version that's less likely to be spotted on every street and Instagram feed.
