The 16th Governors Awards took place on November 16 at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles, and as expected, the stars went full glam. While not as widely known as the Oscars or the Grammys, this does mark the beginning of another awards season, kicking off some serious red carpet style. The awards are known as the 'Honorary Oscars' and celebrate lifetime achievement in cinema, so naturally, the Hollywood great showed up appropriately.
Music megastar and philanthropist Dolly Parton received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, and the Honorary Oscars were awarded to actor Tom Cruise, choreographer and actor Debbie Allen and production designer Wynn Thomas. For the fashion, best looks include Cynthia Erivo in Sarah Burton's Givenchy, Anya Taylor-Joy looking ethereal in Maison Margiela Couture and a welcome appearance from the Frankenstein cast with actors of the moment Jacob Elordi and Mia Goth.

Not only has she served once again on the red carpet in Givenchy by Sarah Burton, while we wait patiently for the Wicked: For Good release, but she recently defended her co-star Ariana Grande at the premiere when a fan ambushed and tried to grab Grande. We love you, Cynthia.
