Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez Unveil the New Era of LOEWE
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Fri, 03 Oct 2025 HypebaeJack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez presented their vision for the future of LOEWE during this season of Paris Fashion Week. After Jonathan Anderson spent over a decade at the helm of the Spanish brand, it was always going to take a lot for the former Proenza Schouler designers to make their mark.
However, given the response from attendees at the brand's Spring/Summer 2026 show, it appears they did just that. Returning to the brand's heritage and leaning into its Spanish history, the duo presented an eclectic collection playing with color, substance and structure.
"To enter LOEWE is to take on codes shaped over 180 years of history, defined above all by an enduring commitment to craft and its Spanish identity. Our task is to carry this spirit forward, interpreting it through our own distinct lens," explain the designers in the show notes.
Leaning into structural forms and "elemental color," the collection took inspiration from Ellsworth Kelly’s 1989 painting, "Yellow Panel with Red Curve," which also greeted guests as it was hung in the show space, and materialized through vibrant primary colors like royal blue, red and yellow. Playful stripes, both vertical and horizontal, adorned dresses and two-piece sets, with asymmetric hem-lines and exaggerated silhouettes adding a punchy touch to a house steeped in heritage.
