All the Athletes We Spotted During Fashion Month SS26
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Wed, 01 Oct 2025 HypebaeIt's no secret that fashion and sport love a crossover. Serena Williams at the Met Gala, Roger Federer being besties with Anna Wintour, Jude Bellingham in that Skims ad. It just makes sense. This Spring/Summer 2026 season of fashion month, that crossover got a whole lot stronger, as we spotted a ton of athletic power both on the runway and on the FROW.
The influence that women in sports have beyond the track, field and court is undeniable. Activists, cultural stars and style symbols, they're multifaceted and multi-talented. Athletes' social media pages are also becoming increasingly more personal, moving away from the highly professional profiles curated by managers and now showing more personality and a peek into life behind the scenes. From fit checks on their days off, to couples' photos and holiday pics, we want to see it all.
Knowing that these incredibly talented people also live lives outside of their professions makes them more relatable, and what many younger fans are so eager to see today. Inviting athletes to Fashion Week also helps cement brands as cultural drivers beyond the fashion world, connecting them with wider audiences.
While the catwalk content may be doing a pretty good job of filling your feeds, these athletic attendees were the stars of our shows. Here is our definitive list of all the athletes we spotted during fashion month.
Lauren James
The Chelsea and Lionesses footballer Lauren James made her front row debut this season at Bottega Veneta to see Louise Trotter's much-anticipated debut in Milan. Ahead of the show, James went to the store to pull a fit together herself, straight from the archive. She chose a jacket with the brand's signature 'intrecciato' weave and paired it with suit pants, loafers and a simple white tee. Flawless.
Jordan Chiles
Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles made an appearance at Ib Kamara’s rooftop Off-White presentation in New York, donning a sporty collegiate jacket with a sheer white skirt and silver strappy heels.
Serena Williams
None other than Serena Williams showed up at Gucci's premiere of The Tiger in Milan, Demna's creative director debut for the House, wearing a black feathery gown. Back in 2021, she also wore a Gucci feathered look for the Met Gala, showing her appreciation for the house has not faltered.
Mary Fowler
Matildas and Manchester City football star, Mary Fowler, made her catwalk debut for L'Oréal during Paris Fashion Week. The show celebrated sisterhood and female empowerment, alongside other L'Oréal ambassadors like Kendall Jenner and Jane Fonda.
Deja Kelly
Deja Kelly made her runway debut for Romeo Hunte in New York. Not only that, but she was spotted in the front row all around the city at shows including Off-White, Who Decides War and L'Enchanteur. The basketball player is cementing herself as a force beyond the court.
Aggie Beaver-Jones
Chelsea and Lionesses striker Aggie Beaver-Jones is making waves both on the pitch and on the FROW, showing up for Nanushka's SS26 show during London Fashion Week.
