Fara Homidi Expands Its Lip Category With a New Plumping Oil

In honor of skin-first summer beauty, cult-favorite brand Fara Homidi is releasing its new Soft Glass Lip Plumping Oil. The lip oil says to deliver the shine of the gloss, along with the nourishing ingredients of a treatment — for a versatile yet effortlessly chic addition to your makeup rotation.

"I wanted a gloss with a mirror-like sheen and a super cushiony comforting feel. Traditionally the ingredients used to achieve a glossy finish have had a sticky and tacky consistency and leave the lips feeling dry. I formulated a hybrid balm-in-oil gloss with no-sting plumping properties, without compromising on shine," Fara Homidi says in a press release.

Formulated with peptides and ceramides, the Soft Glass Lip Plumping Oil promises to moisturize the lips while simultaneously improving volume and texture. Its innovative ingredients are said to subtly plump while also giving you that high-shine, editorial look. While other glosses tend to strip your lips, the new lip oil protects your lips so you're left feeling hydrated all day.

The plumping oil brings us two universally-flattering, clear shades. "Pomme" is translucent baby pink, while "Tawny" is a translucent nude berry. Although the lip oil can be worn on its own, the brand also suggests pairing it with the Smudge & Contour Lip Pencil and Essential Lip Compact for a more high-impact look.
