Aaron Taylor-Johnson Stuns for Saint Laurent
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Wed, 18 Jun 2025 HypebaeAaron Taylor-Johnson stuns in Saint Laurent's Men's Winter 2025 collection.
In case you missed it, Taylor-Johnson just debuted a new shaggy, '70s inspired look. So, what better way to celebrate than with a sensual campaign lensed by fashion photographer and director Glen Luchford and Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello.
The campaign imagery was released alongside an emotive campaign video that doubles as a fashion film. Lensed by British fashion photographer and director Glen Luchford, the film features intimate shots of Taylor-Johnson, nature -- and of course, that new hairstyle he recently debuted.
The short film reveals the new collection in motion with Taylor-Johnson in intimate poses. The exclusive press release states, "the campaign invokes an imaginary conversation between youth's reckless fervor and the calm wisdom that can only be attained through lived experience."
In case you're wondering, yes, Luchford was inspired by the late queer artist Robert Mapplethorpe. "The legendary American photographer Mapplethorpe, who applied his indelible blend of cool eroticism and classicist composition to shoot a campaign for the house in 1983, is the unspoken through line referenced." It evokes "constant tension — between flesh and fabric, rigor and softness, humor and severity, convention and rebelliousness, strength and vulnerability."
The campaign also features Severance star Christopher Walken. Take a look at the short film above.
