Sharna Osborne Captures Valentino Garavani's New Campaign
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Wed, 11 Jun 2025 HypebaeMaison Valentino just dropped the next instalment of its bag range, introducing us to the Valentino Garavani Vain family with a new campaign. Lensed by Sharna Osborne, known for her works with Martine Rose, the new suite of visuals follows the release of the Nellcôte bag campaign, which landed just last month.
Conceived by creative director Alessandro Michele, the new campaign explores themes of "emotional intimacy and femininity," leaning into the analogue photography aesthetic as a means to represent "beauty suspended in time." Projecting images with subdued tones and grainy backdrops, the campaign looks to the concept of "voyeuristic cinema" to showcase its new silhouettes.
The new Vain bag is crafted from soft calf leather and features an elongated handle that allows it to be worn on the shoulder. Landing in new finishes and designs, the bags arrive in multicolored floral embroideries, velvet fabrics and raffia styles, along with a printed "animalier" iteration in tribute to the ready-to-wear collection. Elsewhere, the collection features a new oval-shaped vanity bag, complete with a top flap that also serves as a lid, and the new Soft Vain Clutch bag.
