Wikimedia Foundation and ARMEDANGELS' Team-Up Makes Knowledge Wearable

The Wikimedia Foundation, the nonprofit behind Wikipedia, has teamed up with German fashion label ARMEDANGELS on a limited run of apparel designed to support free access to knowledge. A portion of the proceeds from the drop will go towards ensuring the platform remains open and ad-free for everyone, too.

So, what does this team-up include? Rather than typical merch, the capsule features minimal, everyday pieces like T-shirts and sweatshirts in black, white, blue and yellow -- all printed with statements that highlight themes like access, learning and information equity. "Every piece in this collection carries a message of knowledge, access and impact," shares Christiane Bördner, Creative Director at ARMEDANGELS. "From the freedom to learn, to the responsibility to share information."

This limited-edition lineup features garments made from 100% recycled cotton using RCO100, a process that preserves fiber quality without the use of chemicals or water.
