Riccardo Tisci Has Been Accused of Sexual Assault
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Fri, 02 May 2025 HypebaeRiccardo Tisci, formerly a creative director at Burberry and Givenchy, has been accused of sexual assault. A legal complaint was filed in the New York Supreme Court on April 29, stating that the designer drugged and sexually assaulted a man named Patrick Cooper on June 29, 2024.
Cooper stated that the event occurred after a night out in Manhattan, where he'd met Tisci through a mutual friend. He continued to claim that Tisci had discreetly put a drug in his drink while at a restaurant in Harlem, named 2 Sisters 4 Brothers. According to Cooper, he was "unable to fight, stop or defend himself" and told The Independent that he was "so disoriented as to no longer know where he was, what he was doing, or what other people, particularly [Tisci], was doing to him."
He then claimed that he went back to Tisci's SoHo apartment, where he was held against his will and assaulted. "My intentions were never to end up in Riccardo Tisci's bed. When I woke up, he was kissing me," Cooper continued. He described the incident as "predatory, sexual and unlawful assault and battery," and said that he woke up naked next to Tisci before going to the hospital for a rape kit test and contacting the NYPD to file a report.
A spokesperson for Tisci has denied all allegations, stating that "these allegations are categorically untrue. Riccardo looks forward to clearing his name of these false and malicious accusations. He will obtain vindication through due process."
At present, Tisci has not released an official statement in response to the allegations.
