Earlier this summer, South Korean broadcasting company JTBC cast BLACKPINK's Jisoo in its upcoming K-drama titled Snowdrop. After much anticipation, the show has finally received an official premiere date.

The series is set in 1987 amid South Korea's June Democratic Struggle, a nationwide pro-democracy movement that left the ruling government no choice but to hold elections. Jisoo portrays Eun Young-ro, a college student who falls in love with Im Soo-ho -- played by Jung Hae-in from Netflix's D.P.  -- at first sight after a protest. Helping him hide from the government in her dorm room at Hosoo Women’s University, Young-ro eventually discovers that Soo-ho is not the person he claims to be.
