Ethereal meets utilitarian in the third chapter of Cecilie Bahnsen's ongoing collaboration with The North Face. Unveiled during her Spring/Summer 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week, the latest drop merges Bahnsen's signature softness with The North Face's technical precision, delivering a modular, ultra-feminine take on performance wear. This is girly Gorpcore.

Lightweight yet transformative, each piece in the capsule blurs the line between soft romance and outdoor resilience. Garments shape shift with movement, sleeves zip away, layers peel back and the silhouettes evolve. What begins as a whimsical look becomes something entirely new depending on how it's worn, offering the wearer endless opportunities. A floral-printed ripstop jacket converts into a vest with a subtle zip, while trousers effortlessly transform into shorts. Olive-toned pieces offer a grounded palette for windy days, while a hybrid long coat brings structure and softness in equal measure. The flower motif, a Bahnsen signature, runs throughout and ties the collaboration into the brand's wider SS26 story.

Accessories follow suit, with a sculptural reworking of The North Face's classic Base Camp Duffel alongside a single footwear style, the "Shandal," a sandal-shoe hybrid adorned with Cecilie Bahnsen's signature floral appliqué. "At this stage in our collaboration, it feels like we've really found a rhythm," says Bahnsen. "This season was about lightness, not just in weight, but in spirit. Pieces that can change with you, that feel intimate and easy, even in their precision."

Ephemeral, functional and wonderfully unexpected, words rarely used to describe performance gear, until now. With this collaboration, Cecilie Bahnsen and The North Face continue to reimagine what outdoor wear can look and feel like, one delicate layer at a time.
