Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2026 collection at Paris Fashion Week focused on intimacy as a form of luxury. Presented in the former summer apartments of Anne of Austria at the Louvre, the show framed clothing as an extension of private life rather than public performance.

The collection blended loungewear references with precise tailoring, suggesting that garments designed for indoors can carry equal weight outside. Silks, robes and relaxed silhouettes appeared alongside structured jackets and leather pieces, highlighting versatility and personal autonomy. As for accessories, small trunks and whimsy handbags were carried with grace. The majority of the footwear took form in loafers and ankle boots with delicate socks brimming from the tops.

Attended by brand ambassadors and muses of the brand including Zendaya, Emma Stone, Lisa and Jaden Smith, the show was all about the celebration of one's true personality. The setting reinforced this concept. Scenographer Marie Anne Derville constructed a contemporary apartment using furniture and artworks from multiple eras, combining contributions from Robert Wilson, Georges Jacob, Michel Dufet and Pierre Adrien Dalpayrat. Audio narration by Cate Blanchett reciting lyrics from Talking Heads' "This Must Be the Place" accompanied the presentation, adding a reflective tone.
