"Reuse, Recycle, Reimagine": Welcome to Moschino SS26

Adrian Appiolaza's Moschino Spring/Summer 2026 collection was a continuation of the label's playful ingenuity. Guided by the ethos of "reuse, recycle, reimagine," the show turned humble materials into ready-to-wear staples. Potato sacks were refashioned into structured evening tops and skirts, ropes and laces became intricate trims and cardboard-look leather handbags stamped with "Fragile" added theatrical wit. Crinolines and bouffant skirts added to the material play, while technical raffia knits crafted from recycled plastics gave texture and environmental consciousness.

Signature Moschino motifs returned with irony: smileys, trompe-l'œil effects and newspaper prints from the early '90s reappeared, refreshed for a contemporary context. The "Tie Me Bag" made playful appearances in rubber and cloth, an LED "Ciao" bag was gripped tightly and various accessories toyed with scale, perception and humor. Roses were embroidered into dresses, and also seen interwoven in models' fingers while a pack of produce was transformed into a purse and an actual "baby tee" stating "Stop!" added an extra layer of irony. As for footwear, sky-high wedges arrived in black leather while grass-like mules gave an ASMR effect.

Moschino SS26 was irreverent, clever and utterly unforgettable. Plus, the FROW came dressed to impress in the brand's archival staples.

@hypebae Adrian Appiolaza has one very clear mission for @Moschino and it is proving the power in playfulness. A collection defined by recalibration and reuse, the guests for their SS26 show take their play very seriously ✍️ Which look is your fave?
