Nike and Asphaltgold Create Air Force 1 Mids With Vintage Appeal

Nike and European retailer Asphaltgold celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1 with a limited-edition collaboration. The drop includes two iterations of the Air Force 1 Mid Sculpt, both with vintage-inspired off-white uppers done in premium leather. The two styles feature inlaid Swooshes in red and silver gray respectively, complete with color-matching outsoles.

Designed by Bruce Kilgore, who also had a hand in creating the Jordan 1, the Air Force 1 changed the sneaker landscape forever. The silhouette was the first to use Nike Air technology and has remained a cultural mainstay.

The Asphaltgold x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Sculpt campaign features three models from the German creative scene, and aims to illustrate the idea that this is a shoe for everyone and that it complements anyone’s personal style. Both colorways will be available via Asphaltgold's raffle app on November 19.
