Eccentric Human Sculptures Take Over Crocs x Balenciaga's Campaign
info@hypebae.com (HYPEBAE) Sun, 31 Oct 2021 HYPEBAETo celebrate the launch of its Crocs partnership, Balenciaga has unveiled an evocative campaign created in collaboration with Berlin-based mixed media artists Anna Uddenberg and Kristina Nagel.
The visuals highlight the Crocs Madame 80mm Mule and Boot silhouettes, which were first revealed on the house's Spring 2022 "Clones" runway. Meanwhile, Nagel’s sculptures arrive in the form of a human body with an eccentric twist. The pieces are dressed in upcycled Balenciaga clothing and the Crocs models. As part of Balenciaga's "Art in Store" project, the sculptures will be displayed at the label's London and New York flagship stores.
