COMME des GARÇONS x Salomon Sportstyle Join Forces on Technical Footwear Styles

COMME des GARÇONS and Salomon Sportstyle have joined forces to rework technical sneaker silhouettes for the spring season.

Rei Kawakubo has applied her signature minimalist black-and-white look to the SR901E and SR90 models. The former is a combination of cross-country heritage modernity, arriving in all-black and all-white colorways. The shoe features minimal branding, with COMME des GARÇONS' logo hidden on the footbed.

Meanwhile, the SR901E is a trail-running-inspired design. The laceless kicks don a white base across the upper, which is contrasted with black dot detailing on the sides. Salomon's "S" logo is printed on the tongue and the heel, while COMME des GARÇONS' logo appears on the insoles.

Take a closer look at the collaborative designs down below. The Spring 2022 sneakers will be available at COMME des GARÇONS  and Dover Street Market's e-shops as well as select retailers. The SR90 is priced at €225 EUR (approximately $244 USD) and the SR901E at €295 EUR (approximately $320 USD).
