Billie Eilish just announced the release date of her upcoming concert film, Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour, following the wrap of her final show in support of her latest album, and it's no small project.
The 3D concert documentary will be released by Paramount Pictures and is co-directed by Eilish and Avatar director James Cameron. Eilish took to her Instagram to share, "This is one of my favorite tours everrrrrr and being able to capture it and co-direct this film with [James Cameron] has truly been a dream come true. Can't wait for you all to see it."

With rave reviews, the Hit Me Hard and Soft album has only proved the star's status, and it is no surprise that the Oscar-winning director is on board. Eilish announced earlier this summer at a Manchester concert that she was working on something "very, very special" that explained why she had to wear the same outfit for multiple shows.
She told the crowd, "Basically, I can't say much about it, but what I can say is that I'm working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it's going to be in 3D. So, take that as you will, and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He's in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don't mind that, and also I'll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row."
The film will hit theaters on March 20, 2026, from Paramount and in partnership with Darkroom Records, Interscope Films and Lightstorm Entertainment.
