Merit Unveils Collaboration With Designer Brandon Maxwell

Merit has just announced its newest collaboration in partnership with American designer Brandon Maxwell. The two piece limited-edition collection includes a Signature Bag and the Signature Lip Blush in a new "Maxwell" shade. Drawing inspiration from Brandon Maxwell's classic and modern design ethos, the new products also mark Merit's first time releasing makeup in collaboration with a designer.

Just in time for the 10th anniversary of Brandon Maxwell, the collaboration is striving to emphasize the connection between beauty and fashion. Similarly to Merit's carefully curated lineup of beauty essentials, the brand says the fashion house shares an affinity for thoughtfully edited pieces — making the partnership second nature.

The new Signature Lip Blush in "Maxwell" is a matte lipstick in a cool, rich berry hue. It's encased in a silver bullet, curated by Brandon Maxwell himself. On the other hand, the Signature Bag from the partnership is made of vegan leather and features a bucket silhouette, an easy-to-use magnetic closure and a metal knot inspired by Maxwell's signature hardware.

The Signature Lip Blush in "Maxwell" retails for $26 USD, while the Signature Bag is a gift with qualifying $125 USD purchases. Both will be available on the brand's website starting October 2.
