Louis Vuitton Unveils Its First-Ever Beauty Collection and Campaign
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Wed, 20 Aug 2025 HypebaeLouis Vuitton just launched La Beauté, the fashion house’s new beauty brand that’s attempting to set the standard in luxury makeup. After releasing its first collection which features lipsticks, balms and eyeshadow, the brand unveiled a campaign to match — starring house ambassador and Squid Game star Jung Hoyeon. With Pat McGrath serving as creative creator, La Beauté is already making waves in the beauty space.
Drawing inspiration from the new eyeshadow palette, La Beauté's first-ever campaign is set in a blue desert with pink lakes. The images, captured by Steven Meisel, attempt to represent Louis Vuitton's entry into beauty — with bold details and unapologetic femininity serving as the brand's core ethos.
As for the collection, La Beauté delivers 55 shades of LV Rouge lipsticks, 10 LV Baume lip balms and 8 LV Ombres eyeshadow palettes. Dreamed up by Pat McGrath, the lineup is formulated with high quality ingredients and sustainable packaging. Although fans might see the collection as a departure from the fashion house's recent aesthetic, La Beauté strives to reference Louis Vuitton's heritage and signature trunks, all while reframing the boundaries of the beauty world.
The LV Rouge Lipstick retails for $160 USD, while the LV Baume Lip Balm is $160 USD and the LV Ombres Complete Eyeshadows is $250 USD. The collection will be available to shop starting August 29 on the brand's website.
