Unplain Thinks You Should Start Treating Your Skin Like an Ecosystem
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Mon, 16 Jun 2025 HypebaeK-beauty has taken the internet by storm for its holistic approach to skincare — and luxury brand Unplain is setting itself apart by focusing on science-backed results over gimmicks. The brand claims that your skincare routine shouldn't be about having the most popular ingredients, but rather ensuring that ingredients work in harmony with your skin's ecosystem.
Unplain says that other skincare products unknowingly negatively affect our skin's balance — leading to issues like breakouts and irritation. In an attempt to work with our skin rather than against it, Unplain's products don't contain any fragrance or essential oils. Instead, the brand formulates with prebiotics and fermented oils to repair and strengthen skin.

To remove dead skin cells without stripping the skin, Unplain created its exfoliation Pads with AHAs made from fruit extracts. The flower-shaped pads are dual sided — with one side meant to exfoliate skin and the other side providing intense hydration. After exfoliating, the brand recommends following up with the Unplain Oil — a fermented oil that melts into the skin to reduce dark spots and give a healthy glow. Although fermented ingredients seem daunting, the brands shares that they're easier for your skin to absorb — meaning products won't just sit on the surface and you can reap all of the benefits.
Unplain's skincare products range from $35 – $175 USD and are available to purchase on the brand's website.
