Take Your First Look At Netflix's 'Fear Street: Prom Queen'
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Tue, 29 Apr 2025 HypebaeNetflix teases the release of its latest horror movie, Fear Street: Prom Queen.
"Only two days to go until senior prom -- and anything can happen," the trailer opens. Releasing May 23 in the United States, Fear Street: Prom Queen is the fourth film of the franchise. It's also the only film in the franchise adapted from a book with this adaptation stemming from R.L. Stine's novel "The Prom Queen."
The premise of the film, however, is just as gory as Fear Street fans prefer. "Welcome back to Shadyside," the exclusive press release states. "In this next installment of the blood-soaked Fear Street franchise, prom season at Shadyside High is underway and the school's wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown. But when a gutsy outsider puts herself in the running, and the other girls start mysteriously disappearing, the class of '88 is suddenly in for one hell of a prom night."
"Please Netflix, this looks so good please give us a trilogy again," a fan commented under the trailer. Another added: "I love how they said that this movie wouldn't be connected to the original trilogy but obviously from the trailer you can tell it's canon."
The film stars India Fowler, Suzanna Son, Fina Strazza, Chris Klein, David Iacono, Ella Rubin and Ariana Greenblatt, alongside Lili Taylor and Katherine Waterston. Following the trailer's release,
