Studio Ghibli Joins Forces With Lucasfilm's 'Star Wars' on Short Film

Studio Ghibli, the creator behind iconic films like Spirited Away and My Neighbour Totoro, has joined forces with Star Wars' Lucasfilm on a short film, now available on Disney+.
Titled Zen: Grogu and Dust Bunnies, the three-minute clip features hand-drawn illustrations, opening with Grogu along with Ghibli's Dust Bunnies. The beloved character from The Mandalorian interacts with the small googly-eyed creatures throughout the film, which is released on the third anniversary of The Mandalorian's debut.
The clip is directed by Katsuya Kondo, a manga artist and character designs loved for his Ghibli aesthetic. The visuals are accompanied by sounds created by Ludwig Göransson, who worked on the score for The Mandalorian.
